Done in 24 hours. Creating a blog is fun and easy...I am happy to have created a simple blog for my friend Eldhi...http://modelofmyworld.blogspot.com

Why did I decide to create the blog for her in the 1st place...I am glad and grateful to have Eldhi as my friend, as my COMFORT zone at times. In the 1st place, she created this lovely Blog for me...I didn't really feel like growing this blog until recently, I read from somewhere..its empowering to have a list of positive things listed down...so whenever someone felt overwhelmed with things..this list of positive things will serve as a very empowering list to motivate and keep one's spirit up.

Hence, I started growing this lovely blog...if not for her starting this for me, I would probably not have thought of where I can express my positive thoughts.

And also because I want to thank her for being there for me at times, to surprise her, to let her have a place where she can also pin down all her positive memories or express her thoughts...I assume this may be a wonderful sweet surprise for her too. :)

Going for your dreams...

I contacted one of my ex-colleagues today to ask for an appointment. To my surprise, she told me she has recently tendered her resignation. She planned to further her studies in Malaysia to pursuit her personal interest.

This news took me off-guard as she seems to be such a diligent and hardworking colleague...as an Engineer...a Senior one somemore..if I am not wrong.

The best part of it was...she took this great step to go for her dreams because she is inspire by me...:D when I quited my job to join the Insurance industry...because I believe I can do much more on my own. Giving up a high-salaried job for personal interest requires alot of courage and in turn, she motivates me too.

This is really a sweet surprise for me...I am flattered, of course. Little did I realise, my actions can inspire someone to this level...going for your dreams is always a wonderful and meaningful thing. Though the path towards your dreams may not be smooth all the time, as long as you persist on your convictions and beliefs..the importance of knowing your "why"...the "how" to do it will come and bring you glid through the challenges.

To my ex-colleague, I wish you all the best in your dreams and would love to hear of your success story one day too...:) Jiayou! Jiayou! Jiayou!

My Happiest Day in 2006

Today, I am going to talk about my HAPPIEST DAY in 2006!! My WEDDING DAY - 6 JUNE 2006...:D Though it has been more than 6 months...lovely memorise still reside fresh and deep in my memory...:P

What makes this day so special and happy?

1. Friends helping out to make my wedding day relax, stressfree, happy, memorable and hassle-free...


2. Friends, ex-colleagues, relatives and many many more people whom are related to us in one way or another coming by to give us their best wishes...


3. It has been a long wait and preparation before this day finally came..so when it came..it is very very much treasured and valued by both me and my hubby!!!

Mostly importantly, without the presence of all our guests, this day would not be so special afterall...My heartfelt thanks to all our guests for taking time and efforts to come by to send us their well wishes...

To friends who wanted so much to come but in one way or another, unable to make it, thanks for all your smses and callings too...your kind intentions and thoughts are much appreciated as well!!!

HAPPY WEDDING DAY...to both me and Derek!!! Haa! Haa!!! I have so much attention on this day...felt so pampered and warm to have so many friends fuss over me on a single day!!!! Simply AWESOME!!!!

My 1st Oversea Short Trip..sponsored by BOSS

On my first day to work in 2007 (3 Jan to be exact), it was announced by my boss that I'm going on a short trip to either...Hanoi/Bangkok/Redang...because I was among the six within the team to have met the individual performance target during the last quarter of 2006!!!!

I was totally excited and happy about it. I like things this way..rewards that comes in a different way when I least expected it. I guess, this way, I can work more confidencely without over-stressing myself. Though stress can be good for some..for me, I know confidence is more important to motivate me to perform at the peak than stress...:)

Hip hip horray!!!! I'm going on a trip in Feb/Mar 2007! Whew!! What a way to start 2007, to receive this lovely news from Boss!!! Yippee! My 1st trip ever...sponsored by boss!!!
